Design tokens when two brands share one cart shell

Shared carts sound efficient until color ramps clash and motion curves disagree. We facilitate joint working sessions instead of handing down a spreadsheet from on high.

Each brand brings a steward who can commit to sunset dates. We map overlapping tokens, propose temporary namespaces, and document removal dates in the same pull request as the feature work.

Students practice facilitating those sessions while mentors play skeptical merchandisers. The role-play is blunt by design.

Outputs include a public changelog entry and a private risk note for advisors. That split keeps shoppers informed without oversharing internal debates.
